I cannot get enough of the Stick Figures on Crack series. My favorites are the second and third ones. Who knew mashing up some tv sound bites with stick figures could be so hilarious? Maybe I’m just easily amused. Be warned, you’ll have the retarded song and dance stuck in your head all day. I perform it to annoy anyone around me.

Also, Timbaland is the man. I can’t get enough of “Way I Are.” Hot joint. It’s the summer song for me. “Baby if you strip, you can get a tip…”

I had to post this, because it really cut to my heart. I love me some Slam Poetry, and this guy is awesome. His name is Taylor Mali and I think I saw him perform this on Def Jam Poetry a long time back. Refound it again on Youtube today, and this performance is even more powerful. This poem made me realize how much thanks I never gave to the teachers that steered my life. The ending theme and message, honestly, could be translated across any profession. The passion to which Mali pours his heart out in this performance is truly inspiring.

So, I’ve been itching to update this blog, but a few things are holding me back.

Direction, direction, direction. There are a few places I can go with this blog and really, I shouldn’t go everywhere. I’m always tempted to write a more personal blog, especially now that I’m living a lonely existence in Connecticut. But, my life is far too uninteresting for frequent updates. Besides, who cares except me? One of my favorites is Violent Acres. It would be exactly the blog I would try to do.

I could continue to give you tons of YouTube videos, websites, and fun stuff I find surfing the web, but I’m usually never the first and probably the last to find these things. I’ll keep doing it along the way to indulge anyone’s pleasure.

I’m taking lots of pictures and getting inspired by a lot of photos just surfing Flickr. But a photolog? I don’t know if I could pull that off.

For now, I guess I’ll stop pondering and just make this blog a hodgepodge of my life and internet viewing habits. Who cares, after all? If an audience comes, I hope I can make them stay.

I say this at least once a month, but honestly, look for updates (going to WordPress 2.2 soon enough!) soon. Just waiting for my faster DSL service to kick in. Now that I’m paying the internet bill, I better be putting it to good use!
