Man, it’s snowing like balls outside, but I’m glad to have finally had a blizzard to break up the old routine.

Anywho, so I’m cruising one of my favorite reality news sites, RealityTVWorld and found this article. If you read the article and know me in the slightest, you know that God has just thrown me a bone.

‘Drumline’ movie producer planning marching band reality TV show

UPI News Service, 02/10/2006

“Drumline” executive producer Dallas Austin is working LMNO productions to create a reality TV show revolving around marching bands.

Austin is a music producer who has worked with artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson and TLC, Daily Variety reported. His own experiences in marching band inspired “Drumline,” the college marching band film starring Nick Cannon.

The plan for the TV show would be to recruit marching band musicians from throughout the United States and throw them all together in a boot camp-type setting.

The show would be set as a competition with the winner getting a part in the national touring stage show of “Halftime Live.”

For some reason, my laptop has blocked me from FTP’ing to servers, including my own, which is why it’s been FOREVER since I’ve updated this blog. That, and the fact that I’ve been way busy with school. But I’ll eventually upgrade to WordPress 2.01 and hopefully figure out my FTP problem too. In due time, I guess.
